Honnammana Halla is a secret-feeling stream cascade in the Shola forest of the Baba Budangiri range, about 22 km from Chikmagalur town and 10 km from Baba Budangiri itself. The water drops around 30 feet over a stepped rock face, with a small temple nearby and fog often sitting in the trees around it — it doesn't get anywhere near the footfall Hebbe or Kalhatti do, which is exactly the appeal for anyone after a quieter spot.
It's best seen in the monsoon, July to September, when the flow is at its peak — outside that window it can be a fairly modest trickle.
